Documentary film:

For the Bible Tells Me So  (DVD) Directed and produced by Daniel Karslake

(An award-winning documentary film  (and a Sundance nominee) which is a bit dated (2007) but extremely moving, and tells the stories of five Christian families with gay or lesbian children.  The director is on record as saying that his greatest hope was that the film would encourage the conversation that all communities and churches needed to have.  The clothes and hair are out of date, but as for the film itself . . . once seen, never forgotten.)
