The webinar will be led by Dr Sylvia McCracken
Sylvia is from East Belfast. She is married with grown up children and an increasing number of grandchildren. Her professional background is family and childcare social work, specialising in fostering and adoption. Her recent doctoral thesis focused on the sociology of religion and identity from a critical realist perspective using biographical narrative research methods. Sylvia has worked within PCI as a youth and family ministry coordinator and is an elder in her local congregation. She serves on the Being Presbyterian Committee and helps organise the Calling Women Association Network. Her favourite form of relaxation is gardening and walking beside the Atlantic Ocean.
